St. Petersburg is the 5th largest city in Florida with a population of 249,688. It's the second largest city in Tampa Bay which consists of 2.8M residents. The city is located on a peninsula between Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico which helps make it relatively cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
